Internal applicants only. Our Client Services Representative (CSR) Leads provide leadership in the Shelter’s adoptions and intake areas. Leads represent NOCO Humane in a professional and courteous manner, provide quality client services and serve as role models for other employees in job knowledge, protocols and procedures, safe work practices, attendance and punctuality, the Standards of Professional Conduct and more. Work includes formally supporting Client Services Supervisors, staff and volunteers, assisting with training and information, and assisting with opening and closing duties and oversite. The position also assists CSR’s with client grievances in the absence of supervisors. Client Services Leads are full-time in support of Shelter hours and schedules include at least one weekend shift. This is an internal only promotion opportunity and applicants must be meeting performance, behavior and safety expectations. Minimum of 3 months NOCO Humane CSR experience required, or minimum of 6 months lead/supervisor experience from past applicable work experience. Animal Control Dispatcher (Loveland, CO Location)

NOCO Humane is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Animal Protection and Control (APC) Dispatcher to join our team in Loveland, CO. This full-time, office-based role involves responding to citizen calls regarding animal rescues, public safety, and ordinance enforcement, dispatching field officers, and monitoring their safety. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, assisting with administrative tasks, issuing warnings or summonses, and handling animals as needed. The ideal candidate must be 18 years of age or older with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Must have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and clerical and customer service skills. Experience in dispatch strongly preferred. Previous experience in animal welfare, care, and/or handling is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable using office software, typing at least 40 words per minute, and simultaneously operating a radio headset. The role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus and include a wage premium. Animal Protection & Control Officer (Loveland, CO Location)

NOCO Humane is seeking a dedicated Animal Protection and Control Officer to enforce animal ordinances, assist citizens, and ensure the humane treatment of animals. In this role, you’ll investigate animal-related ordinance violations, issue warnings and summonses, respond to animal rescue calls, and maintain accurate records of daily activities. You’ll also handle domestic and wild animals in various conditions, including aggressive or injured ones, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. You’ll perform both fieldwork and dispatcher duties, assisting in coordinating calls and monitoring Officer safety.
We’re looking for someone who is 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED (with further education in Animal Science, Criminal Justice, or related fields a plus) and a valid Colorado driver’s license. Work experience in animal welfare or enforcement/animal control is highly desired. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus and include a wage premium. You must be able to handle animals of all temperaments and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions. This full-time role requires flexibility, including weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts. Work schedules are generally 4×10 or 5×8, subject to business need, and include holiday and weekend shifts. Compensated on-call overnight shifts are required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Living arrangements within 30 miles of the Larimer Campus (located in Loveland, CO) is required due to on-call duties. Animal Care Supervisor (Loveland, CO Location)
Veterinary Technician (Loveland, CO Location)

Are you a Veterinary Technician looking to make a difference in your community? Our Veterinary Technicians (Colorado Credentialed/Registered/Provisional) provide clinical and administrative support for our Shelter Veterinary Services Department. In this fulfilling role, you’ll provide critical support by assisting with surgeries, administering medications, performing physical exams, and ensuring the overall health and well-being of shelter animals. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, performing basic diagnostics, and handling essential shelter tasks such as cleaning, feeding, and supporting animal intake. The ideal candidate is certified/registered with the State of Colorado, has at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience, and is proficient in intubation, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring. Experience with shelter software (like Chameleon) and dental procedures is a plus, and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly valued and include a wage premium. Schedules are generally full time (40 hours per week), include weekend shifts, and are subject to change according to business need. Shift hours generally range from 7am to 7pm.

NOCO Humane, located in Northern Colorado, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Animal Behavior Supervisor at our LOVELAND, CO location. Our Behavior Supervisors, under the direction of the Shelter Manager, are primarily responsible for the supervision of our Animal Behavior departments at our operating locations. The teams are responsible for ensuring animals are behaviorally assessed for adoption, foster care, transfer, behavior plans and more and for meeting the enrichment needs of animals in our care. Designs, documents and/or implements behavior-related programs, guides and trainings. The position supervises two (2) or more staff members plus department volunteers. These are working supervisor positions and include performing the duties of direct reports routinely and in their absence. Serve as internal animal behavior and training resources and as external resources. Schedules generally includes a weekend day, are subject to change in accordance with business need and require overtime, attendance at evening events and more. Working relationships include both location’s Behavior and Foster teams, Veterinary Services and the Supervisor and Manager team. In this role, you’ll assist with pet adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders, you’ll educate clients on responsible pet care, and handle a variety of animals—including dogs, cats, and small mammals. You’ll also process transactions, update records, answer inquiries, and work directly with law enforcement regarding lost and stray animals. This position requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment while ensuring every client interaction is professional and compassionate.
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Must be 18 years of age or older and have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. You should be comfortable handling animals of all temperaments, standing for long hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
